How it works

  1. Easy Installation
  • Connect VEC Load Controller to your electrical panel and selected high-power appliances (e.g., EV chargers, heat pumps, Hot tub, Air Conditioner).
  1. Monitor Power Consumption
  • VEC continuously monitors real-time energy usage from the panel and detects available capacity.

     The current of lines L1 and L2 is read by two split core current transformers

  1. Intelligent Load Control
  • If the real-time power consumption of the panel does not exceeds80% of the main circuit breaker capacity, the VEC after a short adjustable time delay, energize the connected load. This is a safety measure to prevent damage to the main electrical panel and ensure that the circuit is not overloaded
  • Prioritizes essential loads (e.g., heating, major appliances) while preventing circuit overload.
  1. Automatic Power Recovery
  • The VEC will re-energize the power relay when the power consumption of the main electrical panel falls below 80% of its capacity, considering the size of the load and the total power consumption. The re-energizing process will occur after an adjustable time delay.
